Hey whats up? n2m here... I think I am finally adjusted to Old Westbury. This semester is definitly going a hell of alot better than last semester. I know people in all my classes and meeting new people is always awesome too. Everyone is so nice and we all hate that school all in the same way. Not to mention that it is falling apart like last week when we had the torrential down pour like half the school was leaking and the halls were flooded. but we're all like that's SUNY Old Westbury for ya they would rather put up new garbage cams and ash trays than fix the damn roof in the academic village. I just don't get it. I have a day off on Thursday and only 1 class tomorrow!! Hellz yeah!! Gives me time to relax and read my textbooks. woohoo and not to mention that I have to clean my room. Wow its been so long since I updated this thing but I do a lot of entries on www.myspace.com now (look for me and add me to your friends list if you got it!) my email is GlitterAngel1283@hotmail.com so you can search for me through there. Sooo whats been going on with me.... School started on Tues and OMG do I have ALOT of work to do this semester. I bought all my books today and they all just fit on my book shelf... OY VAY. My professors seem okay and not as bad as last semester. I also like the fact that I'm out of class at 12:30 every day.BIG PLUS! so that leaves me time to work and dedicate my life to reading and studying. I feel the stress already.... but I think I will be okay. Man I hope so. WORK has been okay too.... I can't beleive I've been working at Avenue for almost 2 years... I think September 18th will be 2 years since I started there. I never worked at a store for this long before but hey its awesome. LOVE MY AVENUE CHICAS! Its actually gonna be sad when I have to quit but that won't be for awhile. Hi
Went to the beach today...it was fun, a lil cold but fun. The water was warm though... the waves were kinda rough but I was smart enough to know to go under them when they were like over my head so I didn't get pulled under. They're so much work though!!! Totally knocked me out, and I fell asleep on the sand... LOL. So it was cool! I'm such a lil beach bum :) Might be hanging out tonight with some people, not sure yet. Its so nice to have off from work for the next 2 days! YAY! Oh and 1 week til the Evanescense concert!!!!!! and 17 days til Linkin Park and Korn! WOOHOO! That means Stacy is gonna have no voice what so ever :) Its gonna be so worth it. 3 of my fave bands in a matter of 2 weeks.... YAY! One happy girl over here :) Wellz thats about it! What a weekend.......work was crazy busy. So many sales n crap so people are buying whatever is left of the summer stuff. My back hurts so much from work.... but other than that my weekend was good. Went out with Jamie and John on Friday and its always great hanging out with my best friends!!!! I just wished i had a bf so I don't feel so much like a third wheel, i know im not but i feel that way sometimes. bah... wellz thats about it... dont have much to say. Tiredness....
Yesterday at work was insane....... I was non stop busy from 8am *when i woke up* til like 7:30pm *when i got home* not to mention i walked to and from work which adds uop to three miles and i was on my feet for 8 1/2 hours at work. I'm so drained and I still have to walk a mile and a half to work today and be there for 7 hours and another 8 hours tomorrow. BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. BUt hey its money that i REALLY REALLY need. So right now i'm just chillin before I get ready to make my trip across town. I'm getting a ride home though, and I know I'm going to be doing ALOT of walking this week bc i really cant afford a cab...I didn't get that much money this week. Not to mention that I have over $200 to pay off for my credit card (MUST STOP USING THAT THING) its getting me in trouble. well now i wont buy any more clothes until the fall, i'll get some new stuff for school and work. :) Last fall before i moved i threw alot of crap out so i gotta buy some new crap. LOL. Old Navy and Avenue here I come! hehe. We got some stuff at work that i'm really liking so I must purchase.... must must must!!! LOL. but not til before school starts (but I don't need no more school clothes, I'm in college and don't give a crap what I look like, especially at old westbury b/c I wished that school would go up in flames!) Oh I'm so nice!!! Last Night I hung out with Jamie and John and we took a ride down to NCC and we were sitting in our parking spot. I'm like JAAAAAAAAAAMIE its gonna suck when you come back in sept and i'm not gonna be parkin in this spot with u. I started getting all emotional. DAMN why do i miss that school so much, o yea its called FRIENDS ARE THERE, AND I COULD ACTUALLY CHILL WITH PPL. Blah. but i could always go and visit them, most defintily will. WEll Jamie is getting better little by little, she's going for physical therepy for her shoulder and stuff... I can't wait til she's all better! BEACHED IT!!!!!!!!!
Today was the first day of the year that Beth and I went to the beach!!!! We were so happy. I got a lil tan on my arms like usual. It was so nice layin on the beach listenin to the ocean. I will now and forever always love the beach. happy memorial day weekend!!
heyz.... just got back from the carnival at tri-county. It was fun, just ONE big DISSAPOINTMENT........... NO ZIPPER. I was like wtf, amanda and i were so pissed off cuz its our fave ride but its okay there is always next time. I feel kinda queezy from the rides but its ok, we had fun. We went on a giant twisty slide (like a super slide but MUCH bigger) and it was really cool n fast. hehe. we also saw a bunch of loud n good fire works at the carnival. so it was fun, spending some time with the family (and with my lil sis of course, who isn't so lil anymore being she's 18 and everything but she'll always be my lil sis even when she's obnoxious) hehe..... I am such a nice sister! well anyways my weekend was pretty good...... spent the day with jamie and john on friday.... went to the beach friday night and it was really pretty. I love walking the boardwalk at night, the ocean looks so freaky. then sat i worked all day as well as today and im workin tomorrow *yea time and a half* so im gonna be getting a nice check!!!! yea 32 hours this week :) wellz thats about it i should sleep soon since work awaits me at 930 tomorrow morning......... g'nite. Yesterday I went into the city with Jamie and her mom. It was soo much fun, we did some shopping, watched a vendor get arrested, had lunch, i met Jamie's aunt and then me n Jamie went to washington square park. It was alot of fun, we saw soo many cute city boys! LOL. but nothing beats the hotties we saw when we were walkin to the park :) It was such a nice, fun day. Tomorrow I'm going with her to the doctor and then we are going to spend some time up at mom's job.... so that should be coolz. I should get to sleep though... gotta get up early in the morning. I finished school on Wednesday, YaY summer vacation! It's about frickin time. Next semester is going to be soo much better, I know it is! I found out a few ppl that I know may be joining me there. I HOPE SO! One of my friends from Nassau might be going there and I hope she does. EVERYONE FROM CCB SHOULD GO TO OLD WESTBURY SO I'M NOT LONELY!!!! lol. In other news, I saw Jamie on Tuesday and she's feeling a lil bit better, still in alot of pain though from her surgery. :( Last night me, her, and John went to see 13 going on 30, which was cute but very predictable *female version of BIG much* but it was good. Today I'm working 1:00-9:30 so must get ready soon.... gonna walk across town cuz its just beautiful out today. hehe... I love walking when the weather is nice.
